Chapel Down Flint Dry, a blend of predominantly Chardonnay, Bacchus and Pinot Blanc, is an aromatic white wine with aromas of green apple, pear and kiwi. The palate is zesty and fresh, leading to a smooth refreshing finish. Fruit is sourced from vineyards in Kent, Sussex and Essex. Grapes are grown predominantly on single and double guyot pruning systems, on varied soils including, chalk, clay and loam soils. Each variety was whole-bunch pressed and vinified separately at cool temperatures. Chapel Down is England’s largest wine producer. Based in the heart of the Garden of England, Chapel Down’s finest vineyards are primarily situated on the North Downs of Kent with a terroir very similar to that of Champagne. The Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Bacchus vines are grown on south facing chalk soils and benefit from a warm, maritime climate. Chapel Down also source high quality fruit from long-term partner vineyards across Kent, Sussex and Essex, resulting in balanced wines with unique flavour profiles.
