This is Blod, one of a new range of meads inspired by the Viking heritage of Lindisfarne. Produced at St Aidan’s Winery on Holy Island, this mead is a ‘melomel’ ,fruited honey mead, created by combining Lindisfarne’s famous Original Mead with Lindisfarne Cherry Wine. The result is a fruity taste explosion, full of ripe cherry flavour. A good introduction to mead, or a new flavour for those already converted! Lindisfarne Mead is produced using traditional methods at St. Aidan’s winery on Holy Island of Lindisfarne.
